This is an introduction to the research process. Use the following steps to complete your assignment (refer to the example at the bottom of the page). If you have questions along the way, ask for help. Please note: This is a light research process, and is not meant to be a full-fledged research project.

You will each receive an "Apples to Apples" theme card. You will use your card theme to formulate a research question (hint: you may adapt your card's theme to suit a topic of personal interest). Remember, RQ’s must be:
Clear—Does your Q help direct you and your audience through the research?
Focused—Is your Q narrow enough to be addressed in the allotted space/time?
Arguable—Will your question allow for analysis, evaluation, & a conclusion?
Once you've formulated your question, open a Google Slide, and place your RQ on the first page.
REMEMBER: You may need to amend your RQ, to better reflect the resources available to you
Gather resources to answer your research question. Use your campus databases to find what you need.
Suggestions:
1) What the article is mainly about?
2) What insights the article adds to your findings.
3) How this article complements (or contradicts) the other articles you’ve found.
Your Annotated Bib must include 3 database articles in addition to your cover image (don't forget to cite/annotate your image). Each resource will require its own Google Slide page. Be sure to list your sources in alphabetical order, according to the first letter in each entry. If you like, you may find additional Annotated Bib information here.
